Utilizzo dei video training nella formazione continua in area critica: una scoping review

Introduzione: la tecnologia multimediale è sempre più utilizzata nella formazione sanitaria. Durante la pandemia, video e simulazioni web hanno supportato l’addestramento clinico, trovando impiego nei setting ospedalieri e universitari. La letteratura evidenzia che i video, integrati alla formazione tradizionale, migliorano l’apprendimento procedurale, consentendo la standardizzazione delle competenze. Tuttavia, il loro utilizzo in area critica è poco studiato. Questo studio esplora il video training come strumento formativo in tale contesto.

Materiali e Metodi: è stata condotta una scoping review utilizzando le linee guida PRISMA su PubMed, Cinahl e Scopus (2019-2024), includendo studi sull’uso dei video training per i sanitari di area critica, escludendo le simulazioni. Tre ricercatori hanno valutato l’eleggibilità degli studi, analizzando setting, scopo, contenuti e risultati.

Risultati: sono stati selezionati 20 studi, di cui 16 rivolti agli infermieri. I setting principali erano terapia intensiva (n=12) e terapia intensiva neonatale (n=6). I video erano integrati in programmi formativi (n=11), videoregistrazioni di lezioni (n=4) o piattaforme online (n=3). La formazione era prevalentemente online (n=13). I video si sono dimostrati efficaci nel migliorare conoscenze e competenze cliniche, soprattutto se combinati con altre metodologie.

Conclusioni: il video training in area critica rappresenta un valido supporto alla formazione, soprattutto se integrato alla metodica formativa standard. Ulteriori studi sono necessari per valutarne l’impatto sulla pratica clinica.
