Introduzione: l’aspirazione endotracheale è una manovra necessaria per mantenere la pervietà delle vie aeree artificiali ed è una parte essenziale della nursing dei pazienti che necessitano di ventilazione meccanica. Al fine di ridurre gli eventi avversi, sono state recentemente formulate delle linee guida dall’Associazione Americana dei Respiratory Care.
