Sin dall'inizio della pandemia da SARS-COV2 le terapie intensive italiane sono state messe a dura prova ed hanno dovuto ripensare alle proprie dotazioni di personale e mezzi. Il carico di lavoro infermieristico nelle Terapie Intensive dedicate a pazienti COVID-19 positivi ha subito grosse modifiche rispetto alla situazione precedente all'emergenza. Nessuno studio è stato fin ora condotto riguardo il carico di lavoro infermieristico nelle Terapie Intensive COVID-free durante il periodo di esordio della pandemia da SARS COV-2. L'obiettivo di questo lavoro è stato quindi quello di descrivere la variazione del carico di lavoro infermieristico in una Terapia Intensiva COVID-free di un ospedale pubblico milanese.
