Introduzione: durante CPAP con Elmetto (E-CPAP), il paziente inspira del gas medicale in un sistema sottoposto a pressione positiva, senza contatto con l’ambiente esterno. In questa situazione potrebbero
svilupparsi condizioni di umidità assoluta di vapore acqueo inferiore a quanto suggerito dalla letteratura.
Materiale e metodi: studio a metodi misti in tre fasi. Nella prima fase, svolta in vivo, sono stati arruolati 15 pazienti sottoposti a E-CPAP senza umidificazione.
