Healthcare workers directly involved in the diagnosis, treatment and care/assistance of patients with COVID-19 are at risk of developing psychological distress and other mental health-related symptoms. The primary objective of the study is to measure the extent to which COVID-19 affected the state of anxiety, manifestations of insomnia and resilience of healthcare workers. The secondary objectives are to highlight any differences between the measured levels of the three variables in relation to the different demographic characteristics of the study sample.
