Francesca Angelelli is currently a nursing coordinator at the A. Gemelli University Polyclinic Foundation in Rome and an adjunct university lecturer at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. She gained fifteen years of experience from 2007 to 2023 in critical patient management at the Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Clinical Toxicology of the A. Gemelli University Polyclinic Foundation in Rome. He holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and midwifery and two 1-level master's degrees, “Management for the coordination of nursing and midwifery functions” and “Emergency nursing management in the territory.” At the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, she is coordinator and referent of the 1-level master's degree in critical care nursing and coordinator of the clinical internship of the 1-level master's degree in wound care nursing. In the scientific society ANIARTI (National Association of Critical Area Nurses) she holds the position of Director of the journal Scenario, scientific manager of the association and member of the steering committee for the three-year period 2023-2025. In the scientific society of IRC (Italian Resuscitation Council), she is a member of the BLSD committee and instructor of basic BLSD and PBLSD courses and advanced ALS and ILS courses.

Maria Benetton was born in Treviso, Italy. She has been a Critical Care Nurse and Nurse Coordinator in ICU and Neuro ICU at Azienda Socio-Sanitaria 2 (formerly AULSS 9) in Treviso until 2022. She is currently retired and focuses on training, editorial activities, and collaboration with professional associations. To 2014, she was a nurse educator and teacher in "Emergency and Critical Care" at Padua University (Italy); she also taught in other specialized areas until 2018. She is the author of scientific articles and co-author of scientific nursing textbooks, as well as editor and reviewer of texts published by ANIARTI (Associazione Nazionale Infermieri di Area Critica) and other Italian publishers.

Maria Luisa Rega, RN, PhD is currently employed by the Catholic University Del Sacro Cuore -Faculty of Medicine and Surgery “A. Gemelli”, as a tutor and lecturer of MEDS-24/C. He performs regular participation as a member of the Selection Committee for the Degree Sessions of the Specialist/Magistral Degree Course in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences, of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, in every session, ordinary and extraordinary, of thesis sessions held during the academic year. He is an adjunct lecturer at the master's degree program in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences of “Research in Nursing Sciences,” “Nursing Process Development Strategies and Research,” and “Midwifery Process Development and Critical Evaluation Strategies and Research,” and an adjunct lecturer at the master's degree program in Obstetrics of “Obstetrical-Gynecological Nursing Sciences 13,” as well as Principal investigator (PI) of several research projects concerning nursing and midwifery.

Silvia Scelsi is a nurse with a Master's Degree and Master's Degree in Management and Innovation of Health Care Companies, with a Diploma of Coordination and Certificate of Specialization in Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care. She is currently serving as Director of Health Professions at IRCCS “G. Gaslini” in Genoa, a role she started on April 16, 2016. Previously, she was Head of the UOC S.I.T.A. of the Regional Health Emergency Company 118 of Lazio(from 2012 to 2016), where she also held the position of Head of Management of CME processes, design of training courses addressed to company personnel, responsible for planning and management of all company training activities(from 2005 to 2016). Also served as Training Manager of the Rome and Province Az. Ospedaliera S. Camillo-Forlanini, Responsible for MCQ processes within the project “early defibrillation” of SES 118 Lazio Soccorso.

Also served in the area management of major events, such as the management of the 2000 Jubilee. Coordinator from 2011 to 2014 of the Collaboration Project with the Lebanese Red Cross, CISP and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the implementation of the Emergency System in the Lebanese State.
She currently holds the title of President of ANIARTI “National Association of Critical Care Area Nurses” from 2019. From 2015 to 2020, she was a member of the international board of EFFCNA (European Federation of Critical Care Area Nurses), and President of the Scientific Society IRC(Italian Resuscitation Council)2023-2025, and President of the Society for Quality ASIQUAS since 2020.
Silvia Scelsi is a lecturer for several Italian universities including “La Sapienza”, The University of Genoa, in the areas of management and organization, emergency and nursing.
