Nurses and politics

The 25 September 2022 parliamentary elections of the Italian Republic were held to elect the 19th legislature, and the election campaign was held during the summer period amidst an apparent general lack of interest in the issues. The great absentee of this election campaign was the issue of health and healthcare, a topic after the events of the last two years, seen as very divisive among political parties. Politicians tried to deal as little as possible with the reorganisation of the health service after the COVID-19 tsunami (which, like a real tsunami, did not only cause destruction in the first wave).....
