Quality of Life, is defined by the World Health Organization as an individual's perception of his or her position in life in the context of the cultural and value systems in which he or she is embedded and in relation to his or her goals, expectations, standards and interests. In relation to the nursing category, a less than encouraging finding emerges from the international literature; only 3.6% of it is satisfied with its work and professional activities, moreover to a large extent nurses feel that many aspects of their quality of life are unsatisfactory.
