Introduzione: il dolore è uno dei motivi più frequenti per cui gli individui cercano l’assistenza di un professionista sanitario pertanto, la rilevazione di questo sintomo, rappresenta un elemento fondamentale per la gestione del paziente. Il mancato accertamento del dolore comporta effet- ti negativi sulla salute dell’assistito tuttavia, ancora oggi, tale differenza non è facilmente riscontrabile dalla documentazione clinica presente nei reparti.
