These last two years have profoundly reshaped and redefined our profession, the COVID-19 pandemic has confronted us with the difficulties of the National Health Service in coping with the continuous waves that the health professions, with nurses in the lead, have been trying to cope with. Despite the great difficulties encountered, today we are aware that we have weapons (personal protective equipment to protect us, vaccines to reduce the effects of the disease help us to defend ourselves in this war.
