Introduzione: L’emorragia arteriosa è una delle principali cause di morte in ambito civile e militare. Nonostante la pressione manuale
diretta del sito emorragico sia ancora lo standard di riferimento per il controllo del sanguinamento, l’applicazione precoce, in ambito
extra-ospedaliero di tourniquet si è dimostrata capace di ridurre le morti con bassi rischi di complicanze. L’obiettivo dello studio è quello di sinte-
tizzare i metodi di utilizzo, le condizioni dei pazienti, gli esiti e le complicazioni relative alle applicazioni del tourniquet.
