Introduction:Â Pain is an important public health problem worldwide and has a great clinical, social and economic impact, for these reasons itsidentification and treatment must have high priority from healthcare professionals. Critical care patients feel pain not only for their diseases but also for the long immobility and various invasive procedures they may undergo.
