Introduzione: la partecipazione della persona alle cure è la capacità dell’assistito di avere un ruolo attivo nelle decisioni riguardanti i suoi trattamenti ma risulta di diffi cile attuazione nel contesto di emergenza-urgenza. In letteratura non è stato trovato alcuno strumento italiano che valuti il grado di partecipazione dell’assistito al processo di cura in Pronto Soccorso (PS). Lo scopo di questo studio è stato quello di tradurre e valutare le perfomance psicometriche del questionario Patient Participation in Emergency Department Questionnaire (PPED) nel contesto italiano.
