On this anniversary, it is difficult to retrace all the experiences that Aniarti has given rise to, some very successful and repeated over the years, others less responsive. But scientific activity thrives on these variables and we have not been immune to them. What has always stood out in Aniarti's scientific quality, however, have certainly been the congress proposals, both regional and national. Forty years ago, the training offers were neither widespread nor wide-ranging; obviously the CME system did not exist (we will have to wait until 2002) and the updating provided by the healthcare facilities was extremely varied.
