Introduzione: il disturbo da stress post traumatico (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD) è un disordine psichiatrico che, in accordo con il Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5^ edizione, è
definito da quattro gruppi di sintomi: ri-esperienza, evitamento, iperarousal e alterazioni cognitive e dell’umore. I meccanismi sottostanti i PTSDs sono ampiamenti descritti da due differenti discipline, psicologichee biologiche.
Obiettivo: effettuare una revisione sull’origine dei PTSDs dal puntodi vista biologico.
