Introduzione: nel corso degli ultimi quindici anni è avvenuto un importante mutamento circa i bisogni assistenziali del cittadino. In tale contesto il ruolo dell’ospedale si è modificato tanto da affidare alla realtà territoriale parte di quell’attività assistenziale che un tempo era ad esso depu- tata.
