Introduzione: i pazienti di terapia intensiva sono a rischio di sviluppare complicanze oculari, che possono progredire fino alla perdita della vista. Si tratta di un problema spesso sottovalutato dagli operatori sanitari. L’articolo discute diverse tecniche di prevenzione dei disturbi oculari secondo una revisione bibliografica aggiornata.
Materiali e metodi: revisione narrativa su PubMed, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, Embase e Web of Science. La qualità degli articoli è stata analizzata con le checklist CONSORT e STROBE.
