Introduzione: nel 45% dei casi, nelle prime 48-72 ore dopo un infarto miocardico acuto (IMA) si manifestano sintomi depressivi che aumentano significativamente il rischio a breve termine per morbilità e mortalità e determinano una minor aderenza ai comportamenti di prevenzione secondaria e una minor qualità di vita. La depressione post-IMA nella maggior parte dei casi non viene riconosciuta in assenza di uno strumento idoneo.
Materiali e metodi: ricerca bibliografica. Sono state identificate 16 pubblicazioni utili.
